Memphis Real Estate

Ridgeway the Center of the New Memphis Metro Real Estate Area

IPsmMany businesses have their headquarters located in the Ridgeway area. Perhaps the largest and most influential is the International Paper Headquarters located on Poplar Ave in the center of Ridgeway -Memphis Real Estate District. It is one of the largest employers in Memphis and contributes much to the Memphis economy and helps Memphis in many ways with its generous giving to local civic and charitable projects.

Regions-Ridgeway-Memphis-tn-smUp the street is the impressive Regions Bank Building ,6200 Poplar Avenue Memphis, TN 38119. Memphis is Regions' largest market (and headquarters city for Morgan Keegan & Company Inc., the company's investment and brokerage arm, Regions Mortgage, Regions Insurance Group, and the Mid-south region of Regions Bank). Regions is committed to being an active presence in the communities they serve. Regions and Morgan Keegan have a three-year title sponsorship of the professional ATP and WTA tennis tournament, which benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Perhaps one of the most striking buildings in Ridgeway is the Crescent Center. The 338,000-square-foot building demands some of the highest lease rates in the city, at $24 per square foot. IPC US Canada's only REIT that invests exclusively in U.S. properties purchased the building in 2005.The Crescent Center is a unique office building because it is brimming with activity at nearly all hours. The office crowd comes in during the weekdays and the Crescent Club crowd fills in during the nights and weekends. It is currently 98 percent leased to a tenant list that includes Perkins Family Restaurant owner The Restaurant Co.; Butler, Snow, O'Mara, Stevens & Cannada law firm; Consulting Services Group; Stanford Financial Group; and Raymond James & Associates.

The building also features a private dining club, the Crescent Club, a deli, fitness center, putting green and covered parking.
